Simon Philip Cowel, The British music Govt, Entrepreneur, Tv producer was born on 7th October 1959 in Brighton, East Sussex, England. His father, Eric Philip Cowel was an estate agent developer and music industry executive and his mom Julie Brett is a former ballet dancer and socialite. He has one brother and two half brothers.

Cowel and his brothers attended the Unbiased school Dover Faculty and left the college before sixth grade. His father who was the manager at the recording giant EMI Music Publishing bought him a job in the mail room. Later he bought the job of an assistant to an A&R man and from there he went on to music publishing position but left in the course of the early 1980′s to kind E&S music with his boss at EMI. The corporate had a number of hit records. He later left this company additionally and joined Iain Burton, Manager of Nascent impartial record label “Fanfare records”, with whom he labored for eight years. Here he bought his first actual success in the music industry and made Fanfare into a highly successful “Indie pop” label. Fanfare had innumerable hits.

In 2006 he signed record breaking deals. Within the USA he agreed to remain a choose on “American idol”, one other deal with FOX to broadcast “Obtained Expertise” and “American inventor” on other networks. Within the UK he signed a deal which gives ITV rights to his Expertise show “The X Factor” a singing talent show and “Grease is the Word” a musical talent show.

He signed a deal with Sony Music leisure which will launch a US version of X factor in 2011.

In 2002 he played the position of Choose in the first series of “Pop idol”. In 2004 he created a show “The X issue” and was a choose along with Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh.
